Terms of Use (Customers)

These Terms & Conditions apply to customers using TressTime, operated by Tress Labs Ltd. By creating an account or using the app or website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TressTime, you agree to these Terms.

2. Platform Role

TressTime is a booking platform. Barbers are independent service providers. All services are provided by independent barbers and barbershops. Tress Labs Ltd. is not responsible for the quality of a haircut, barber conduct, injuries during service, or allergic reactions.

3. Booking Rules

Bookings are subject to the selected shop's and barber's availability. Where a shop hasn't enabled online deposits, payment is made directly to the barber ("pay-in-shop"). Cancellation policies may vary by barber, subject to TressTime's platform-wide Cancellation & Deposit Policy.

4. Appointment Swaps

Same-day swaps are allowed only between the same barber, service, and duration, and only where both customers confirm. A shop may disable swaps entirely. TressTime reserves the right to reverse fraudulent swaps.

5. Cancellations

Customers may cancel according to the applicable shop's cancellation and deposit terms. Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension.

6. Reviews & Conduct

Users must not post defamatory content, harass others, or provide false reviews. TressTime may remove content and suspend accounts that violate this.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Tress Labs Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect losses, loss of earnings, dissatisfaction with a haircut, or the actions of independent barbers. Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid to us directly (if any).

8. Account Suspension

We may suspend accounts for fraud, abuse, fake bookings, or violations of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly.
